What do you do?
Session drummer , Drumming is my main income. I also own a recording studio/rehearsal and teaching facility. This enables me to song write and record/produce bands, and tutor the new generation of budding rockstars
How long have you been doing it?
A long time. It's all i can remember doing now.
What are you doing right now?
Endless editing. I'm making an album for the band i manage. Sounds the bollocks.
What is your plan for the next 6 months with your music? (i.e to keep writing/to get more gigs/to promote your music/to increase your fan base/to sort out the bands style/look)
The next six months will be spent finishing off the album and making sure all other aspects are ready by the time we launch, Very exciting!
What brands/model instruments do you currently own/play? (if you are a producer what hardware/software do you use?)
I play Dw.Drums with Zlidjian Cymbals. They've never let me down in the studio or on stage. Never scrimp on your gear. I'm always complimented on my sound. If you're serious about music stay off the beer and spend more on gear
What is your prize position in terms of kit?
My Black Beauty Snare Drum. It's the nads but very unforgiving if you miss hit
What brand of kit/hardware has never let you down?
Zildjian Cymbals for me all the way.I have sooo many that people assume i'm endorsed.
What website could you not go without? (i.e myspace/reverb nation)
Route finder sites. ,you never know when your satnav is going to spaz out and i hate being late for sound check.
What studios have you recorded at?
Abbey road , Olympic , Town House, Metropolis,List could go on. Slowly and sadly their disappearing one by one.
What is your favourite venue to gig at in terms of acoustics/sound?
I like the Bedford . Always had a good sound.
And finally- what is on your kit/instrument/hardware wish list?
The Neuman M149 microphone. I like it alot.
